LTFD promotes two veteran firefighters
Hertzmann, Randich: Will serve as battalion chief, lieutenant

LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP — The Lockport
Township Fire District announced the promotion of two firefighters July
21 at its monthly board meeting. Trustees promoted Paul Hertzmann from
lieutenant to battalion chief and Todd Randich from firefighter to
lieutenant.
Hertzmann started his career with the
fire district in March 1989. He was the EMS coordinator for eight years
and was involved with the fire prevention bureau. He was promoted to
lieutenant in July 1995.
Hertzmann's wife, Melisa, had the honor
of pinning his new badge on his uniform. The couple have two sons and
three daughters.
Randich started with the district in May
1993. Randich was a member of the fire prevention bureau for five years
and a member of the Combines Area Response Team for one year.
Randich's father, who is a retired
Lockport firefighter, had the honor of pinning his son's new badge on
his uniform. Randich is married to Angie.
