Ever since a downtown fire destroyed one city block on October 6, 1895, our community has recognized the need for an organized fire  district.  From three hand-pushed hose carts and a handful of volunteers, we've grown to a full-time paid staff of 70.

As our growing community continues to push back its boundaries, we are ready to preserve and protect the quality of life in our district.

Lockport Township Fire District is a member of MABAS DIVISION 19, a co-operative network facilitating the exchange of equipment and manpower among 11 member communities.
