Welcome to the Lockport Township Fire Protection District Web Site. The Lockport Volunteer Fire Department Inc. was established on August 10, 1895 after a catastrophic fire consumed the downtown area of the City of Lockport. After the fire, citizens of that era banded together to form a fire department to combat fires in the city and surrounding areas. The Lockport Township Fire Protection District was established in April of 1956.
