The Lockport Township Fire Protection District is pleased to offer a Community Mental Health Program for residents of our fire district. The goal of this program is to enabled our community members to access long term solutions for mental health issues and get out of the revolving door of emergency room visits for chronic mental health issues. Our Community Risk Reduction officer is available throughout the week to address the needs of district residents and assist them with obtaining longer-term care.

This service is provided with cooperation between the Fire District and the Townships of Lockport and Plainfield, along with The Will County Department of Health, Thriveworks mental health care and Senior Services of Will County.

If you or someone you know needs non-emergent assistance with a mental health issue, please reach out to Community Risk Reduction Officer William Piper today to get started.
